Fixing Google Calendar Connection Issues

How to fix the "There was an error connecting your google calendar" issue.

When connecting your google account to Salesroom, some users have experienced an issue saying "There was an error connecting your google calendar".

This can occur due to a permission error between Google and Salesroom. To resolve this please try the following steps.

1. Logout of Salesroom

You can logout from the user menu (bottom left) or by visiting app.salesroom.com/logout

2. Clear Google Account Permissions

Visit myaccount.google.com to view your Google account settings.

  • Click the "Data & Privacy" tab on the left side menu.

  • Scroll down to the "Data from apps and services you use" section

  • Click the "Third-party apps & services" arrow button.

  • Scroll down to find the "Salesroom" item and click.

  • Click the "Delete all connections you have with Salesroom" and click confirm on the pop up dialog.

3. Head back to Salesroom and login again.

You will be asked to reauthorize access to your Google account. Make sure the calendar permissions checkbox is checked and hit continue.
