With Salesroom, you can seamlessly integrate your Microsoft Outlook account and create meetings directly within your calendar. This feature will save you time and effort by eliminating the need to switch between applications.

Connect your Calendar

Signing Up with your Microsoft Account

If you sign up for Salesroom using your Microsoft account, your Outlook calendar will automatically connect.

Signing Up with Email or a Different Provider

  • Navigate to "Integrations."

  • From there, click "Sign in with Microsoft" on the Microsoft Calendar tile and follow the instructions.

Adding Salesroom Link to Outlook Events

There are two options. Salesroom works without any downloads or installs. You can create Salesroom events in Outlook without using an AddOn.

Via Outlook App (recommended)

⬇️ Download and install the Salesroom Outlook App from Salesroom

Via Personal Link

Via Inviting Salesroom as Participant

Once the "Connect your Calendar" step above has been completed. Inviting [email protected] as a participant to any event, will update that event with a Salesroom meeting link.

Request IT Admin Approval

Some enterprise customers have stricter security restrictions on who can read and access calendar information. In these cases, sending the following message to IT should do the trick:

Once your IT admin has completed these steps, everyone in your organization can sign up using Microsoft and use the Outlook integration without having to grant access for specific permissions.

Dear [IT Admin's Name],

I hope this message finds you well. We've been working to enhance our sales processes and have recently identified a video conferencing platform, Salesroom, that can significantly improve our efficiency and customer engagement.

Salesroom has been designed specifically for sellers like us. It offers an integrated scheduling feature that directly updates our Outlook calendar events with a link to our scheduled meetings. This eliminates the need for us to manually generate and distribute meeting links, saving time and reducing potential scheduling errors.

However, before we can utilize this feature, we require your approval to enable Salesroom's Outlook integration for our organization. This integration involves granting Salesroom permissions to read and edit our calendar events, which would facilitate the seamless scheduling of meetings. According to Salesroom, this is the same as Zoom, Google Meets and Microsoft Teams.

To activate this integration, you need to create an account on Salesroom. Here are the steps:

1. Visit https://signup.salesroom.com
2. Click "Continue with Microsoft"
3. Approve the access for our organization

Once this is completed, all members of our team will be able to use the Outlook Integration without further authorization. This will help streamline our meeting scheduling and ensure smoother customer interactions.

I understand that granting permissions involves careful consideration regarding data privacy and security. Therefore, I encourage you to review Salesroom's security measures and data handling practices; they are SOC2 Type 2 certified. https://help.salesroom.com/security

Please let me know if you have any questions or require additional information. If you could expedite this request, it would be greatly appreciated, as we are eager to maximize our team's productivity and improve our customer engagement.

Thank you for your understanding and support in this matter.

Best regards,

[Your Name]
