How to handle poor network or connectivity issues.

Poor WiFi connections are the biggest cause of quality and connectivity problems. In many cases, the connection may be fast and stable enough at the modem, but a bad router or excessive traffic on the router can cause problems in the call.

If possible our first recommendation is to try a few different networks to rule out the possibility of a WiFi issue. Switching to a different router, using a mobile hotspot, or trying an ethernet connection may resolve the issue.

Adjusting Quality

Salesroom will try to automatically adjust the video quality when connectivity issues are detected. However, you can also manually change the send and receive quality in settings during the meeting.

Reducing Send / Receive Quality

Try decreasing the quality if you experience:

  • video or audio delays

  • poor network connection

  • low battery

  • limited data available

  • other video/audio issues
