You can share the contents of your screen by keyboard shortcut "S" or by clicking the Share Screen button. Depending on your browser you will be given different sharing options in the pop up menu.
🗣️ Screen sharing is often limited by the browser you use. If you run into any issues, please make sure you are on the latest browser version (we recommend Chrome).
Floating Video
Where support is possible, when you start screen sharing Salesroom will pop open a floating video player of all participants. You can edit who appears in this video or turn it on/off using the "Float" item in the meeting controls. The floating video will also show behavioural notifications from the Meeting.
Presenting
These apply to both Mac and Windows. You will be loading the file you want to present in the web app for that file. e.g. Microsoft PowerPoint via OneDrive for *.pptx files.
Google Presentation
On the top right, click the dropdown next to "Slideshow" and select "Presenter view." This will open up a new window with your speaker notes; it's up to you if you want to keep this or close it. In Salesroom, you can share the screen and select the tab with the Google Presentation in it.
Microsoft PowerPoint
With PowerPoint, you have to share the tab first before going into presenter mode. Otherwise, PowerPoint will default to taking over the entire screen rather than just the tab. From within OneDrive, open the PowerPoint presentation you wish to present. In Salesroom, share the screen and select the tab with the PowerPoint slides in it. Now navigate to PowerPoint and select present on the top right.
Keynote
From within iCloud Drive, find the Keynote presentation you wish to present and click the play icon ▶️ to start presenting. In Salesroom, you can share the screen and select the tab with the Google Presentation in it.
You can right-click from your Desktop or any online Drive like Google Drive and say "Open in Google Chrome" or similar. Depending on your browser, you may have to reduce the sidebar if needed. In Salesroom, you can share the screen and select the tab with the Google Presentation in it.
Mobile Devices
On a Mac with iPhone, the process is simple and requires no additional software; otherwise, you will need to download and install software on your computer and phone.
