Salesroom integrates with Calendly using your personal meeting link. It's as simple as including your link as the custom video conferencing option.

Updating Round Robin

Preferences for conference or location for Round Robin Event Types are handled differently than for other types of events. An admin or the owner of the Round Robin Event can edit the team members section and add the location for each member.

Making it easier for buyers to join meetings.

When you set up events in Calendly, make sure that you select the “Calendar invitation” (instead of “Email Confirmation”) option in the “Communications” section of your event.

If you pick “Email Confirmation”, your prospective buyers won’t see a meeting link and “Join” button on their calendar, they will only see your personal meeting URL, and may find it harder to join the meeting.

CRM sync

If you are using a CRM that is not Hubspot or Salesroom and sync meetings via a Zapier integration, you need to pay attention to the “Meeting name”. Because Salesroom will never ask your buyers to sign in or give their email address, the meeting name is the key to identifying the right contact / opportunity in your CRM.

To ensure that your meeting syncs correctly, please make sure:

  • That you go to your calendar and follow the meeting link in the calendar event. Do not go to your waiting room in Salesroom

  • Start the meeting 1-2 minutes before the scheduled start

  • Once you’re in the meeting, you buyers will either join directly or appear in your waiting room. If buyers are in the waiting room, you will see a pop-up at the top of the screen. Choose the option “Add to this meeting”.

If you don’t start the scheduled meeting before the buyer joins and start an instant meeting from your waiting room instead, the meeting name will not be aligned with the calendar event, and your meeting likely won’t sync to the CRM correctly.
